Psalm 2 is an Invitation to Christendom. Psalm 2 is an invitation to all nations, governments, and rulers to confess that Jesus Christ is LORD.
When was the last time that we had a godly Christian Governor in the state of Washington? When was the last time that we had a Governor who met the qualifications of Exodus 18:21?
How does David’s declaration of perfect hatred in verse 22, fit with and flow from everything that came before it? Furthermore, how does this fit with Jesus’ command to love our enemies? Is David being unchristian here? Are we allowed to pray or talk or feel this way? Well, these are just some of the questions I want us to wrestle with in this Psalm.
Someone asked in the FB group about John 10, where Jesus is disputing with the Jews about whether or not he is God, and he says to them, “Is it not written in your law, “I said you are gods…” what does he mean by this? Is Jesus saying human beings are actually gods? What is going on here?
