Children are undoubtedly a blessing, but like all gifts and all blessings, if stewarded poorly or unfaithfully, they can become curses and a ruin.

This is what godly submission looks like for a wife: chaste behavior, not being argumentative, seeking the good of your husband and household with all diligence.
The husband is the principle and source from whence the wife comes, and because of this there is a certain hierarchy of authority that follows.
What is marriage for? Marriage is for: 1) Children, 2) Companionship, and 3) Chastity.
God has no lack, everything is His, and He gives to whom He will, some more and some less, but always to those who love him, exactly what they need.
There are two women, Euodias and Syntyche, who are at odds with one another, there is a disagreement (we are not told what it was over). And this conflict between them is threatening to undermine the unity of the church.
